Welcome to the presentation portal
Submissions are now open for the Australian Wind Industry Forum, taking place on Tuesday 26 May at Centrepiece Melbourne.
Across Australia, the power of wind is constant, but the stories on land and on sea are very different. As a cornerstone of Australia’s clean energy mix, onshore wind is a proven performer but its momentum is being tested. Offshore wind, meanwhile, with declared areas in place, is a new frontier, full of potential as investment, regulation and supply-chain frameworks mature.
The forum brings together onshore and offshore wind professionals for a one-day deep dive into the issues, innovations and opportunities shaping wind energy in Australia.
Key themes
We’re calling for speaker submissions that are relevant to the Australian wind industry and align with the Forum's key themes:
- Challenges with reaching FID: building certainty in an evolving landscape – topics may include but are not limited to, impact of global events on Australian markets, policy and regulatory challenges, environmental planning complexity and reform, supply chain constraints, market signals tied to energy targets, complexities of social license, project financing.
- Transforming technology: harnessing the latest innovations – topics may include but are not limited to, emerging wind technologies, manufacturing and logistics, circular economies, recycling and decommissioning, offshore installation and operation, connecting projects to the grid, hybrid projects, mitigation measures and reducing environmental impact.
- Planning and place: creating the conditions for project success – topics may include but are not limited to successful approaches to environment and planning, approaches to social performance, innovations in safety, workforce development, transport and logistics, ESG performance and reporting, identifying early pipelines into engineering and project construction and operations.
Be sure to detail how your proposal aligns to the theme and its relevance to the Australian Wind Industry.
By submitting a proposal, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise with key players in the clean energy transition and influence the clean energy conversation at Australia’s premier wind industry forum.
