Submissions are now open for the Western Australia Clean Energy Summit, taking place on Tuesday 24 March at the Pan Pacific in Perth.
The Summit brings together the state’s clean energy community for one-day of thought-leadership, knowledge-sharing and collaboration, focused on the issues that matter for Western Australia.
Key themes
We’re calling for speakers and topic submissions that are relevant to the Western Australian context and align with the Summit’s key themes:
- Connecting to the grid – topics may include but are not limited to, transmission, utility-scale solar, large-scale storage, onshore wind, offshore wind, system integration, consumer energy resources, workforce, supply chain, environment and planning, social license and community acceptance
- Decarbonising WA’s industries – topics may include but are not limited to, supporting the decarbonisation of mining, resources and heavy industry, WA’s green export market opportunities, microgrids, impacts to workforce, supply chain
- Balancing supply and demand – topics may include but are not limited to, microgrids, consumer energy resources incl VPPs, SWIS, transition to renewables.
Be sure to detail how your proposal aligns to the theme and its relevance to the Western Australian context.
By submitting a proposal, you’ll have the opportunity to showcase your expertise with key players in WA’s clean energy transition and influence the clean energy conversation at the state’s premier clean energy summit.
Things to note before submitting:
- Each session comprises four 12-minute presentations followed by a panel discussion.
- Q&A is scheduled for the panel discussion at the end of the session, not during the individual presentations.
- All accepted presenters will be included in the Q&A panel scheduled for the end of their session.
- Be sure to emphasise the new, different, or innovative aspects of your presentation or relevance to the Western Australia context.
- Avoid redundant topics previously covered in this or other conferences.
- Refrain from proposing broad, high-level subjects; provide specific details.
- Note that sales and promotional content will not be considered.
- Feel free to complete multiple submissions if you have more than one relevant topic.
- Submission close at 5.00pm (AWST) on Friday 31 October 2025.
To complete a submission, you will be required to provide:
- contact information and a professional, colour high-resolution headshot
- a presenter biography (100 words)
- presentation theme
- presentation title
- presentation summary including relevance to the Western Australian context (max 250 words)
- you will also be required to agree to the terms and conditions.
