Abundant sunshine and wide-open spaces provide ripe conditions for Queensland to lead the world’s renewable energy transformation. In 2024 alone, $2.05 billion was invested into clean energy projects in the Sunshine State and more than a quarter of the nation’s rooftop solar was installed in Queensland last year.
Meanwhile, large-scale solar projects provided the majority of generation capacity nationally in 2024, while the first quarter of 2025 was the second best on record for investment in large-scale battery energy storage systems in Australia.
The Queensland Clean Energy Summit featuring large-scale solar and storage will bring together the leaders and technical specialists from across the Sunshine State’s renewable energy community and Australia’s utility-scale solar sector for two days of thought-leadership and impactful discussion.
