Abundant sunshine and wide-open spaces provide ripe conditions for Queensland to lead the world’s renewable energy transformation. In 2024 alone, $2.05 billion was invested into clean energy projects in the Sunshine State and more than a quarter of the nation’s rooftop solar was installed in Queensland last year.
Meanwhile, large-scale solar projects provided the majority of generation capacity nationally in 2024, while the first quarter of 2025 was the second best on record for investment in large-scale battery energy storage systems in Australia.
The Queensland Clean Energy Summit will bring together the leaders and technical specialists from across the Sunshine State’s renewable energy community and Australia’s utility-scale solar sector for two days of thought-leadership and impactful discussion.
