Ahsan Kazi is APD's Energy Sector Leader with close to 15 years' experience delivering complex power system projects across Australia and international markets. He specialises in grid connection studies for Wind farms, BESS, Data Centre connections and hybrid energy developments and is currently leading a 1.5 GW wind farm connection in NSW. Ahsan has played a leading role in navigating technical negotiations and connection processes with AEMO and major network service providers. As Manager of APD Global’s Power Systems team in Victoria, he leads a team of 30 engineers within Australia’s largest specialist power system practice. Ahsan holds a PhD in Electrical Power Systems from the University of New South Wales and is an active member of Engineers Australia and IEEE.
