As Executive General Manager, Policy at the Clean Energy Council, Con brings over 25 years of experience in energy policy, gained across member associations and Australia’s largest energy companies. He has been a leading advocate for policy reform since the inception of the National Electricity Market, contributing to the design of the wholesale market, retail competition and best-practice economic regulation. Con leads the CEC policy team dedicated to advancing Australia’s transition to a sustainable and renewable energy future. He works closely with CEC members across the clean energy value chain, fostering collaboration to shape policy and regulatory frameworks that unlock investment, innovation and consumer participation. Through strategic leadership and strong engagement with government, regulators and industry, Con focuses on removing barriers, accelerating the deployment of renewable energy and ensuring clean energy technologies are central to Australia’s energy system.
