Ben is the ANZ Energy lead for UK Government’s Department of Business & Trade and is based in the British Consulate in Melbourne. Prior to joining HMG, Ben spent 24 years in financial markets, predominantly at Winterflood Securities in London, as an equities trader and subsequently running the team of Sales Traders servicing large global institutions. In 2013, Winterflood Securities raised $500m for Greencoat UK Wind, the UK’s first infrastructure fund focussed on wind, to finance some of the early wind farms in the North Sea.
