Micala Johnson is the Senior Policy Officer – Safety, Operations and Maintenance at the Clean Energy Council. In this role, Micala leads policy and industry engagement focused on improving safety, operational performance, and maintenance practices across Australia’s ever-expanding wind energy fleet.

With a strong background in work health and safety, risk management, and high-risk operations, Micala works closely with our Members to drive continuous improvement in safety culture and industry standards. Her work underpins the development of best practice guidance, capability initiatives, and policy advocacy to ensure Australia’s wind industry remain safe, reliable, and sustainable.
