Sam is a proud Wiradjuri, Yorta Yorta, Barapa Barapa, Wemba Wemba, Mutthi Mutthi and Gungarri man. Over the last 15 years Sam has focused on community development, building a better understanding of the complexities in creating positive social change, focusing on the achievement of better outcomes for First Nations communities. With experience across key sectors including public service and NFP roles in clean technologies, land rights, natural resource management, heritage protection, emergency management and education.
