Anya Hart is Arup’s South Australian Resources Leader with more than 25 years’ experience across the resources, consulting and government sectors. Having held senior roles with BHP, OZ Minerals, WSP, OneSteel and several mining developers, she brings extensive experience across project development, innovation, approvals, operations and growth strategy.

Prior to joining Arup, Anya led global innovation collaborations advancing emerging mining technologies and lower-impact resource development solutions, as well as approvals and development programs supporting the growth of several mining projects in South Australia.

Recognised for bringing diverse perspectives together to navigate complex challenges, Anya is a strong advocate for the responsible development of Australia’s critical mineral resources and the role the resources sector can play in shaping a more sustainable and equitable future.

Drawing on experience across mining and industrial manufacturing, Anya offers a pragmatic perspective on how investment in critical minerals, processing and manufacturing can strengthen Australia’s supply chains and support a resilient domestic clean energy economy.
