Matt O’Rourke is the head of infrastructure policy in relation to the build out of AWS’s data centre and network infrastructure across Australia and New Zealand. He leads AWS’s legislative and regulatory affairs on energy, water, telecommunications, security, and sustainability to support the development and operation of data centres and the procurement of renewable energy. Matt has spent the last 25 years working in IT&T policy and regulation across more than 60 countries with data centre operators, telecommunications companies, regulators, and in consultancy.
