Dani Alexander is the CEO of the UNSW Energy Institute, one of Australia’s leading universities in energy technology, with a focus on a consumer-led energy transformation as we integrate close to 100% renewables into our electricity grid. Dani is also the interim CEO of the NSW Decarbonisation Innovation Hub, Director of the Energy Research Institutes Council for Australia and a Board Member of the EEC.
 
Dani is an experienced leader of energy innovation, having worked closely with energy sector stakeholders for more than 15 years including consumer groups, retailers, networks, emerging businesses, market bodies and government. Her own research focuses on socio-technical systems to support DER integration and orchestration.
