James is a Senior Director at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners with 22 years’ experience across the energy space.



James leads Quinbrook’s Supernode project, a 780 MW / 3096 MWh BESS and data centre site in Brendale, Queensland. James has led on the development, construction and operational phases of the project – including grid connection, procurement, offtake contracting and financing. James also led Quinbrook’s acquisition of Habitat Energy (an AI focused battery optimisation platform) in 2021 and is a senior member of the Quinbrook Investment Team.



Prior to joining Quinbrook, James was a Director at Frontier Economics. During his time at Frontier, James advised on all aspects of electricity, gas and green markets across countries including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia.
