Maia is the Chief Operating Officer of Snowy Hydro, where she oversees Australia’s largest renewables-supporting fleet of hydro and gas power plants (5.5 GW), delivering an A$300 million annual capital program and more than A$3 billion of energy. Previously, as CEO of CleanCo Queensland, she launched a new government-owned low-emissions generation, trading, and retail business, and has held executive roles at Origin, SunDrive and Fortescue since starting her career at McKinsey.
