Speaker biography
Belinda Fan is the Chief Executive Officer (Australia) of British Solar Renewables, steering the delivery of its 3+GW Australian renewable and storage pipeline, and the operation of its 5 built solar and BESS projects in the Northern Territory and the NEM.
Belinda’s two-decade career spans senior leadership in energy and resources markets, from partner at a leading international firm to executive roles in international energy businesses. As a renewable executive, she led the development of 8+GW in pipeline, and the construction and operation of ~600MW renewable and BESS projects. Along the way, she worked with the world’s most active energy transition investors including ICG, Brookfield and KKR.
Known for her thoughtful leadership and knack for cutting through complexity with a grin, Belinda champions innovation, purposeful teamwork, and long-term shared value in clean energy — because saving the planet should be ambitious, impactful, and (occasionally) fun.
